Rock, Paper, Scissors.
Byrne does realize that these three characters were used in an issue of Teen Titans Go? Or does he?
They are very similar in look.

Neither JB nor I were aware of that, or of the team that pre-dated the Teen Titans story, either, but people have since informed us (a lot)… Google didn’t turn anything up when we checked. And anyway, it’s not really the most unique or original thing in its concept, using those names, but like he says, it’s not the idea, it’s the telling of the story.

I’m really looking forward to Byrne getting back to a classic super-hero book — some of his best work was on FANTASTIC FOUR, and if Byrne doing a “Terrific Trio” re-captures a fraction of the glory from my youth reading classic Marvel books in the 80s…I’m all for it. Maybe we’ll get some more DANGER UNLIMITED, too!!!! Make Mine IDW !!!!

Pure garbage by Byrne. His old stuff was so much better.

Well, it looks like Al is cookin’ on all cylinders again. That comment about John Byrne’s old stuff being better is such a tired, meaningless phrase. What an idiot you are, Mr. Cook .

Byrne is awesome, no matter what he does. 🙂
