Visions of 2011 – Molly Crabapple’s Week in Hell

In March, I’m very excited about the fact that we’ll be releasing the first of three art books with the great Molly Crabapple. (Well, I’m excited about that fact now, but the book won’t be out til March, I mean). THE ART OF MOLLY CRABAPPLE, VOL. 1: WEEK IN HELL, is in Previews now (JAN12 0483, $9.99) and is a 48-page book of photographs by Clayton Cubitt that detail her week covering pretty much every inch of a room in an undisclosed hotel with her art. As you can see from the above image, Molly has hand-lettered and doodled new drawings onto all the pages as well. The week itself was funded by Kickstarter, and now this book shows you exactly what went on that week.

WEEK IN HELL also features a new introduction from Warren Ellis, who should be reminded again that he’s completely to blame for this, too.
