The Week in IDW

We’re auctioning off 83 Retailer Exclusive covers of GODZILLA: KINGDOM OF MONSTERS #1, with all proceeds benefiting Japan relief (through AmeriCares Foundation). This includes the covers with IDW employees on them that haven’t been released for sale anywhere.

The concluding issue of John Byrne‘s JURASSIC PARK miniseries, “The Devils in the Desert” got the highest of marks from Pop Apostle.

My new ZOMBIES VS ROBOTS miniseries, with artist Mark Torres, makes its debut next week. And the first issue got some nice reviews from Kitty’s Pryde and from Watch Play Read (which gave it an overall 94%!), too.

The start of the G.I. JOE: COBRA CIVIL WAR kicked off this week with G.I. JOE #0, which was well-received at Ain’t It Cool News.

Geekscape interviewed TRIBES creator Michael Geszel and had some nice words for the graphic novel, too.

Word about our upcoming DUKE NUKEM comic got released today, in the form of this teaser image, and also word at Diamond’s Previews World, Duke4.net, and  Comic Zone, among other places.

I made the Appreciation list of “the Last Real Man in Comics,” Beau Smith, in his column for Westfield Comics.
