Following the well-received 30 DAYS OF NIGHT/X-FILES crossover, 30 DAYS OF NIGHT is coming back again in a big way, with creators Joe R. Lansdale and Sam Kieth. And if you know either guy’s work, you know that alone, they produce some great creepy and outright horrific tales, so pairing them together has led to, well, the images you see above and below here.
From the official press release, 30 DAYS OF NIGHT: NIGHT, AGAIN is a four-issue miniseries that “follows a band of survivors from the vampire infestation, who take refuge at a science facility in the Alaskan wilds. The inhabitants of the research compound are trying to determine the nature of a strange object found in the ice when the survivors arrive, leading to a frightening and bloody confrontation between humans and vampires.”
Which is our way of not telling you too much about the biggest oddity in this story. Although the variant cover below, by artist Davide Furno, might give you a bit more of a hint at just what is really going on in this series.
