Darwyn Cooke’s Tut

Our adaptation of James Patterson‘s THE MURDER OF KING TUT is winding down now. But since we just got the fifth and final cover from Darwyn Cooke — completed just a day after he turned in the last pages of his PARKER follow-up, THE OUTFIT (debuting at the NYC con in October) — it felt like a good time to show all five of Cooke’s covers or this series.

Darwyn set out to do something different on these covers, more of a pop-art sensibility than his usual work, and I think they were wildly successful and different than you see on most comics.
