This Wednesday, the first issue of Harlan Ellison‘s first comic series in well over a decade launches. Titled PHOENIX WITHOUT ASHES, the debut series is four issues long, and definitely heads in some hard-to-see-coming directions, like the best of Harlan’s sci-fi. Interior art and colors is by Alan Robinson, and Kote Carvajal. Covers for all four issues — along with the various hand-drawn logos — all shown below, are by John K. Snyder III.
For Harlan completists, we’re also offering the original PHOENIX prose novel in four incentive chapbooks, one with each issue.
It’s very exciting seeing this work being released…! Hope this would rock! Bests!
