The King’s name is… Aroo?

Our newest Library of American Comics strip collection, KING AROO, is out next week. And chances are good that you’re asking “what is King Aroo?” Rather than explain the strip or who the characters are or talk about its creator, Jack Kent, I figured I’d let the introduction in the book itself–from the inimitable Sergio Aragones–as well as the first strip, speak for itself.

(Incidentally, the book won’t make it into East Coast comics shops next week due to a rather serious trucking accident that affects all 2/17 IDW titles in that region, but it’ll be available everywhere else then and on the East Coast as soon as we can get more books into the pipeline).
