Wire Hangers Riff tracks

So already in my office is one of the cooler things I’ve gotten in this gig — an electric guitar signed by WIRE HANGERS creator and Life of Agony co-founder Alan Robert, as well as everyone else in the band, too.

That guitar now has some nice company, in the form of this Rock Band/Guitar Hero Riffmaster guitar emblazoned with WIRE HANGERS artwork:

Alan recently gave away one of these guitars at his issue 1 signing in NYC. (Footage from Alan’s WIRE HANGERS #1 signing at Forbidden Planet last month).

And now, you have a chance to win your own WIRE HANGERS Riffmaster, too. Just go here, to a new contest being sponsored by Revolver Magazine. The contest ends July 1, so go give it your best shot any time this month.

In other WIRE HANGERS/Life of Agony news, Life of Agony has a live CD/DVD called “20 Years Strong” scheduled for a worldwide release next month, and inside it is a double-sided insert that talks up the band’s other projects. WIRE gets some nice play there, as you can see from the image below. Head over Life of Agony for more information about the DVD.

WIRE HANGER #1 and 2 (of 4) are in stores now, with issue 3 coming in early July (or, if you’re at Comic-Con and come see Alan, he’ll have a special edition of issue 3 only available at the show, pictured below)! Finally, a couple video podcast reviews of WH #1 and 2 are up here for issue 1 (at the 37:55 mark) and here for issue 2 (49:30 mark).
